"I sure hope I find someone as nice as Tommy."A school dance is coming up and Dori (Tuesday Weld) is desperate to get a new dress, to compete with Gloria (Jacqueline Kerr) who is trying to steal her boyfriend Tommy (Teddy Randazzo) from her.
A very stilted musical, but compelling because of its stellar line up of rock and roll performers including Chuck Berry, LaVern Baker, Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, The Flamingos, The Moonglows and The Johnny Burnette Trio.
