At one such event he meets Maude (Ruth Gordon), a 79 year old who has a zest for life and fun. She opens up a world of possibilities to him, and he grows to love her.
A love story, between a young and jaded and an old and life loving couple. The fact that this works is totally down to the chemistry between the two leads.
