Taking violent revenge for his daughter Annette's rape sees Georges incarcerated in an insane asylum. A few years later an American stumbles on, and decides to stay in a village, in part due to his attraction to Annette. A tug of love ensues between the daughter and her mother, for the American. Further intrigue happens when Georges escapes.
Set in the Camargue, it conveys a sense of the heat and dust, but soon loses it's way, and the initial promise dissolves into little more than a pot boiler.

nude on the moon (1961)
aka Girls on the Moon. Moon Dolls. Nature Girls on the Moon. Nature on the Moon. Nudes on the Moon.
Two scientists manage to build and fly a rocket to the moon and find it looking remarkably like Florida and populated by topless women. So more topless on the moon than nude! The reason for this film is to show topless women to a sex starved America in the early 60's, so remarkably pointless and boring today, unless watching for the unintentional laughs, of which there are many.
