girl in gold boots (1968)

"I'm here to be a dancer."
Michele Casey (Leslie McRay) is encouraged to journey to LA to become Go-Go Dancer, Once in Hollywood she has no trouble getting herself a job in a hip nighclub, but then drugs enter the scene.
A second rate b, though better than Showgirls, (which has a similar plot), merely on the fact that it cost a fraction of that turkey to make. Also although the star cannot dance you've still gotta love the go-go scenes.

the doll squad (1973)

aka Female Mercenaries. Seduce and Destroy.
"Take it easy lady, you'll live longer."
A mad man pops up, threatening to take over the world, and the only people who can stop him are the doll squad led by Sabrina Kincaid (Francine York). A crack team of 'experienced' ladies...
A no budget, cruedly written, badly acted, and trashy espionage thriller chock full of buxom women such as Tura Satana, who mix sex appeal with ineffective martial arts.

the astro zombies (1968)

aka Space Vampires. Space Zombies.
"It is possible therefor to control the astroman remotely."
The announcement of Tura Satana's death prompted me to seek out one of her movies I'd never seen. And so to The Astro Zombies...The authorities are worried about a spate of murders. What they don't know is that the disgruntled and severly whacked off his gourd Dr. DeMarco (John Carradine) has just been sacked by the Space Agency, and has been using the murders to obtain body parts to create an Astroman. Unfortunately for everyone he loses control of his creation, which quiet naturally goes on a killing spree...And where does Tura fit into this? Well she plays the sadistic leader of a spy ring that gets involved.
An example of the so bad it's good film genre, especially if you like the idea of watching John Carradine fiddling with lab equipment endlessly! The leaden pacing almost sent me to sleep, and it was only the appearances of Tura that livened it up, as she slaps and shoots her way through the film, in a succession of silk evening wear!

blood orgy of the she devils (1972)

"So mote it be."
Lorraine (Leslie McRae) and Mark (Tom Pace) come under the influence of Mara (Lila Zaborin) a witch who foretells the future and undertakes past life regression. When she is commissioned to kill someone for a client and is subsequently killed herself Lorraine and Mark turn to Dr. Helsford (Victor Izay) for help.
Cheap cash-in that tries and fails to chase the witchcraft loving audience following the popularity of Rosemary's Baby. Alas this has no plot, charisma or humour to keep your attention.

the corpse grinders (1971)

AKA The Flesh Grinders.
"You're nothing...you're pet food!"
A woman lets her cat back inside from its nightly prowl, and is promptly attacked by the cuddly feline. Similar events are happening all over town. What the cat owners don't know is that the owners of the Lotus Cat Food Company have decided to source their meat from a new supplier. A supplier who has a cheap and plentiful supply of meat conveniently located in the local graveyard! What the cat food company don't forsee is that the cats would develop a taste for human flesh and the fresher the better! Angie (Monika Kelly), one owner who has a cat with a taste for flesh, happens to be an assistant to Dr Glass (Sean Kenney). After Glass is attacked by her cat, they decide to investigate.
A cheap and cheerful horror full of the usual bad acting and low rent direction, but this only serves to add to the entertainment value.
