rogue (2007)

"Alright, the species we're looking at today, the saltwater crocodile, is probably the most dangerous member of the crocodilian family. They're pretty much living dinosaurs who have been perfecting their hunting skills over two hundred million years."
Kate Ryan (Radha Mitchell) leads a group of tourists on a cruise up a remote river in the Australian outback, and encounter some wildlife they soon wish they hadn't, when they start to be stalked by a very territorial man-eating crocodile.
A fine example of Ozploitation, that starts by building some great tension, but throws it away with an unrealistic ending.

machette kill (2013)

"You are crazier than I am."
Machette (Danny Trejo) is forced by the US Govt to kidnap a Schizophrenia gang lord intent on moving his business into space, but he finds Mendez (Demian Bichir) has wired himself into a missile, and is forced to try and take him back to the US in an attempt to disconnect him from the weapon.
Rodriguez packs this homage to b-movies actioners with Hollywood names, providing them with some fun set pieces.

dorothy (2008)

aka Dorothy Mills.
"We have little faith in your science."
When Dorothy (Jenn Murray) is accused of abusing a baby, a psychiatrist Jane Morton (Carice van Houten) is shipping in to assess her case. But as normal, things are more complex than the Dr initially thinks.
Unassuming horror that draws you in with its simple story well told.
