incubus (1982)

Sheriff (John Ireland) and doctor Sam Cordell (John Cassavetes) investigate a series of sexual murders. Meanwhile Sam's daughter Jenny (Erin Noble) is friends with Tim (Duncan McIntosh) who complains that he has nightmares about rape and murder and believes that he his the killer.
Tense detective thriller, which unfortunately doesn't hold up.

the legend of hell house (1973)

"The house tried to kill me. It almost succeeded."
Four people (Pamela Franklin, Roddy McDowall, Gayle Hunnicutt and Clive Revill) are tasked with establishing whether there is life after death and are sent to the notorious Belasco House to do so. The house having a reputaion of driving occupants mad or killing them. Can the team survive a week in the house and solve the mystery?
The typical haunted house script is lifted by its cast and direction that manages to maintains a chilling, and beguilingly erotic atmosphere, and thus entertains all the more than most.

twins of evil (1971)

aka The Evil Twins. The Gemini Twins. The Virgin Vampires. Twins of Dracula.
Gustav Weil, (Peter Cushing) is the leader of a puritan sect in nineteenth century Europe, who think of no better entertainment on a night than to find and torture witches. But even they won't go up against Count Karnstein. Until that is when he takes a fancy to Weil's twin nieces.
The third in Hammer’s Karnstein Trilogy, after The Vampire Lovers and Lust for a Vampire. This has all the elements that a Gothic horror needs, mad zealots, satanic aristocrats, and beautiful innocents ripe for corrupting. What's not to like? If you are looking for some gothic Hammer entertainment, then this should suffice. It's never going to win any awards, but then it wasn't meant to. It was made to entertain for 90 minutes, which it succeeds in doing.
