john dies at the end (2012)

Dave's (Chase Williamson) life gets very trippy when his friend John (Rob Mayes) takes a drug called soy sauce. FRom that point on Dave and John have to battle a being from an alternate reality to save the world.
Enjoyably warped sci-fi, adding comedy and gore into the mix.

phantasm III lord of the dead (1994)

"It's time now boy."
The spheres are back, as Reggie (Reggie Bannister) teams up with a young boy Tim (Kevin Connors) and the fiesty Rocky (Gloria Lynne Henry) to fight the mysterious Tall Man (Angus Scrimm).
Added humour gives this third outing a renewing spark, making for a mildly diverting sequel.

phantasm (1979)

"You play a good game boy, but now the game is finished and you die."
A young boy (A. Michael Baldwin)) and his brother (Bill Thornbury) come up against the Tall Man (Angus Scrimm), a mysterious grave robber, with an arsenal of fearsome beasts and weapons. Can the kids defeat this ancient evil.
Cheap, lacking plot, characterisation and acting ability, but it does have atmosphere, and some how works, though I'm not sure how!
