high-rise (2015)

"How's the high life?"
Dr Laing (Tom Hiddleston) moves into an apartment in a tower block, and starts to become involved in the lives of those around him, including the architect who lives in the penthouse, who explains he is using the building as a social experiment.
Surreal, if disjointed, investigation into the class system, invoking thoughts of Bunuel, Kubrick and Cronenberg.

sightseers (2012)

"He's not a person, he's a Daily Mail reader!"
Chris (Steve Oram) takes his new girlfriend Tina (Alice Lowe) on holiday, touring the north of England in a caravan, but her sheltered life is soon opened up more than she could ever have imagined...
Very black comedy, stylishly made and with some gory flashes that keep you on your toes.

a field in england (2013)

"Open up and let the devil in."
Whilst the English civil war rages, Whitehead (Reece Shearsmith), an alchemist and astrologer, is charged with finding O'Neil (Michael Smiley), but little does he know that O'Neil is lying in wait for him, and has plans for Whitehead's skills.
A tale of greed and madness, set during the English civil war, that defies categorisation. Beautiful cinematography keeps you watching what is a slight and puzzling story.

kill list (2011)

"You've got to get back on the horse again."
Contract killer, Jay (Neil Maskell), hasn't worked for eight months, following a disastrous job in Kiev. Money troubles press on him and is wife (MyAnna Buring), and she, and his old partner Gal (Michael Smiley) pressure him into taking a new assignment, but is Jay mentally and physically prepared enough to take on this new contract?
What starts out as a psychological thriller, suddenly twists into supernatural horror, in this eminently watchable film. Just watch out for the gruesome torture along the way.
