When a government minister is caught by the security services taking part in satanic rituals, they move to find out what's going on. They consult with the occult expert Prof. Van Helsing (Peter Cushing), and investigate the background of the reclusive businessman behind the cult, the mysterious D D Denham.
The last of the Hammer Dracula's to feature Christopher Lee, brings the series up to date, with a conspiratorial mix of big business and politics.

Twins Jackie and Julian (Martin Potter & Judy Geeson) move to London and strike up a friendship with a smalltime gambler Clive (Alex Kanner) and his girlfriend as they explore swinging London. But then Clive involves them in a scheme to solve all his debt problems and things take a turn for the worst.
Interesting and entertaining drama, that twists alarmingly two-thirds of the way through.

crescendo (1970)

Susan Roberts (Stefanie Powers) is working on her thesis about a dead composer and arrives to stay at his house. Also there are the composers widow, Danielle (Margaretta Scott), wheelchair bound son George (James Olson), maid (Jane LaPortare) and butler (Joss Ackland). Susan quickly develops a sense of unease, due to the inter-relationships at the house and George's apparent ability to sometimes exit the wheelchair for the odd stroll.
A would be suspense movie, full of well not a lot, as the suspence and tension never really get going.

One hundred years after we see Dracula killed, Johnny Alucard the great-grandson of Dracula's servant enlists a gang of young kids including Jessica, the grand-daughter of Abraham van Helsing to unwittingly help resurrect Dracula.
Cushing and Lee are re-united, returning to battle in their eternal struggle between good and evil. Many dis this film, but I like it. After so many gothic vampires there was a real need for new blood, and who better than Stephanie Beecham and Caroline Munro. This gives a kick to the franchise and a great flavour of the groovy Chelsea set of the time.
