rumble in the bronx (1995)

aka Hung Fan Kui.
"They were looking for you..."
Keung (Jackie Chan) arrives in the Bronx from Hong Kong, and agrees to help Elaine (Anita Mui) who has bought his uncle's supermarket. Unfortunately when Keung stops a local gang from stealing they are determined to make him pay. Then Jackie unwittingly gets involved with some stolen diamonds, that some very heavy people want badly.
Jackie again plays the all round good guy, in a story with plenty of action for him to show off his athletic set pieces.

jackie chan's first strike (1996)

aka Ging chaat goo si 4: Ji gaan daan yam mo. First Strike. Police Story 4: First Strike.
"You're family may be in danger."
Jackie continues his stint as a Hong Kong policeman. This time he ends up in Australia on the tail of Jackson Tsui (Jackson Liu) who is selling nuclear secrets to the Russian mafia.
The usual full on assault of stunt work showing Chan's athletic abilities. Forget the plot, it's merely there to allow Jackie to move from one set up to another.

police story III - super cop (1992)

aka Jing cha gu shi III: Chao ji jing cha. Supercop.
"It's a sin to let anything go to waste." (said as they dump a woman's body into a shark pool)
Police Inspector Chan Ka-Kui (Jackie Chan), is assigned to take part in an Interpol operation on mainland China. The Interpol director, Jessica Yang (Michelle Yeoh), tells him the assignment is to target the drug lord Chaibat. Ka-Kui, posing as a petty criminal is jailed and infiltrates the gang by helping one of its top men to escape. They travel to Hong Kong and he gains Chaibat's trust, getting involved in some drug smuggling. But things get complicated when Ka-Kui's girlfriend spots him whilst undercover and inadvertently gives the game away.

Another in the successful Police Story series, gives us exactly what we expect, glamourous locations and lots of comedy and action.
