Short Night Of Glass Dolls (1971)

An American journalist, Gregory Moore (Jean Sorel), is found in a coma in a garden in Prague. Taken to the hospital he is pronounced dead on arrival, and taken to the morgue. As he lies there, Greg tries to remember what brought him there. Will he find the answers to why he is here, and in a coma, and will he be able to wake up before the autopsy begins?
Inventive Giallo, that slows the pace down, and adds a political dimension.

scorpion thunderbolt (1988)

"You don't know me?"
A Journalist gets involved with a cop and a crazed vampire witch, known as the Queen of the Scorpions. The witch controls a snake demon that is killing people in her attempt to obtain a magical ring.
Ho throws comedy, horror, sex and martial arts into the mix, to producer a bizarre and often baffling thriller. Not surprising when you find out that it is a cut and shut from a previous film, supplemented with some new martial arts footage featuring Richard Harrison.

scream bloody murder (1973)

"You and mr parsons are going to be such good friends, I just know it."
A child kills his father and subsequently ruins his left hand. Years later, he (Fred Holbert) returns home, to find his mother re-married, and he's not too pleased about it. I'm suspecting he's not going to wish them a happy honeymoon.
Low on budget and plot. A primitive stalk n slash, cented on a man's Oedipal complex and featuring plenty of slash, but not much stalk.

john carpenter presents vampires: los angeles (2002)

Surf dude and Vampire hunter Derek (Jon Bon Jovi) goes down Mexico way to battle some vampires. Once there he creates a team, including a girl (Natasha Gregson Wagner) who has been bitten, but not turned, (yet), a priest (Cristián de la Fuente), student Sansho (Diego Luna) and a fellow vampire hunter Ray (Darius McCrary). Together they start to track the blood sucking clan.
Cheap and cheerful follow up to John Carpenter's original.

predators (2010)

"I'm the one that got away."
A group of expert killers, from mercenaries, to psychopaths, are transported to a distant planet to become the quarry of predator hunters. Can they team up to survive this ultimate hunt as Royce (Adrian Brody) proposes? Their chances look to improve when they meet up with Noland (Laurence Fishburne), someone who has survived over ten seasons, but all is not what it seems.
Plays out in a predictable style, with nods to the previous entries in the series.
