game of death (1978)

"One must share one's wealth with others."
A martial arts film star, Billy Lo (Bruce Lee), fakes his own death after an assassination attempt is made on his life. Following some plastic surgery, he's free to take revenge on a gang who were intimidating him.
Cobbled together mess following Bruce Lee's death in 1973. Making extensive use of archive footage of Bruce, and obvious body double's, the producers show real exploitation flair, even using shots of Lee's real funeral for the fake on! But on the plus side, there are a number of good action sequences.

wheels on meals (1984)

"Elephants can't climb."
Two friends (Yuen Baio and Jackie Chan) run a mobile cafe in Barcelona, when they come to the aid of a damsel in distress. She turns out to be an heiress being persuade by her evil uncle. The two are joined by Moby (Samo Hung), who is looking for the girl on his first case as a private detective.
An entertaining slap-stick comedy and martial arts action flick from Jackie and Samo.

close encounters of a spooky kind (1980)

AKA Spooky Encounters. Encounters Of A Spooky Kind. Gui da gui. Ghost Against Ghost.
"I'm the bravest man in town!"
Cheung (Sammo Hung) is constantly bragging about being the bravest man in town. After spending a night in a haunted house, to again prove how courageous he is, he almost catches his wife in bed with Master Tam (Huang Ha). Tam decides that this is one close encounter too many and hires a sorcerer to get rid of Cheung. Now Cheung has a real test to his courage as Chin Hoi (Chan Lung) sends hopping vampires, zombies and ghosts after him.
As this is a Hong Kong film there is little doubt that we are in for much slapstick humour and acrobatic high jinx, and this film has it in spades, proving itself to be one of the best in the genre.
