Wordy low budget sci-fi, you will either get annoyed by its pedestrian pacing, or feel its a obscure and haunting gem driven by its minimalistic electronic soundtrack.

A psycho-babble script poses the question, who will win when the planets resources dwindle. Do we take to spirituality or do governments move to war and genocide? Once seen best forgotten.

Solar 1 returns from a mission into the farthest reaches of space, after a year of no contact. Capt. Mark Devore (Chip Johnson) lands to find he has passed through a time warp, which has thrown him one year into the future, and thus invisible to everyone around him.
A film that dealves into the complex emotional and physical effects of deep space travel on the people involved. From the politics of high level military personel, to individual family relationships and emotions. Oh and with added comedy! Unfortunately none of this is rendered in anything but a superficial way, and with plot holes the size of a house, but what do you expect from a film that casts someone called Chip as an astronaut!
