Epifania Parerga (Sophia Loren) inherits her fathers millions, but cannot find happiness. What she really wants is love. But the course of true love never runs smooth, so someone said! Then she meets and falls for an Indian doctor (Peter Sellers), who serves London's poor, but he wants nothing to do with her or her millions. What is a willful woman to do?
A slight romantic comedy, remembered more today for Sellers eccentric behaviour during filming than the film itself. What is presented is actually a gentle comedy that slips by easily enough, if you can get past how annoying the Epifania character is.
