the day it came to earth (1979)
"If we corner the monster, do we still have to read him his rights?"
Some collage kids are learning about the solar system, whilst the media report sightings of UFO's. Meanwhile they go about normal collage activities, picking up girls and using the local swimming hole. Unfortunately this particular hole is used by some mafia hoods to dump a body into. Not a problem until a meteor strikes the pond and reanimates it.
A low budget film that takes as its template 50's sci-fi horror's, but it never really recreates the look and the feel of those cheesey classics, and falls flat in trying to.
