"I know you've been having an affair with my wife whilst I was away."After a long period away, Jim Medway (Derek Farr) returns to London to visit is wife, only to find she has been murdered. He decides to find out who the murderer is and what their motive would have been? He soon ruffles some feathers, especially of local gangster Charlie Durham (William Hartnell), who brings in Paynter (Peter Lorre) to deal with him. Fortunately he has new acquaintance Ann (Joan Hopkins) in his corner.
A seaside noir, a la Brighton Rock, that stands above most of it's quota-quickie ilk.
