A couple's daughter is killed by a dog, devastating the couple. They relocate to the small village of Wake Wood and are given the opportunity to reanimate her, but only for three days. Will the return of their child comfort them, and will they accept the three day limitation.
An entertaining and engaging supernatural horror, that develops slowly and subtly, with flashes of gore to keep the bloodhounds happy, aided by the performances of Adian Gillen and Timothy Spall. Yes its the summation of a number of other films, and some will dislike it due to its deliberate pacing, which is 40's supernatural, not 80's gorehound.
