On the anniversary of the death of Sidney's (Neve Campbell) mother, two students are found butchered. Sidney begins to suspect there is a serial killer at work. No one is safe and everyone's a suspect.
One of those films that re-freshes a genre, in this case horror. Craven produces a film that renews the formula of teens in trouble slasher flick, with a witty and inventive script from Kevin Williamson.
