Tony Rapallo (John Gregson) and his wife Dorothy (Peggy Cummins) are making heavy weather of having a baby. Then to make things worse Tony's first wife Myrtle (Shelley Winters) arrives. She tries to tempt him back with news that she is about to inherit $2m from her uncle, but what she doesn't tell him is the inheritance is dependant on him not having any male heirs.
A comedy that wears quickly.
