"She loves giving me surprises..."Ruth (Elizabeth Henson) is a troubled girl, who never smiles. The only time she did was when she encountered Tim (Bill Owen), a tramp, whilst in hospital. Her mother decides to employ Tim in an attempt to bring her out of her depression, which he does, but the shock causes her to become an amnesiac, forgetting Tim completely. In fact she starts acting frightened around him, causing him much distress.
Would be screw-ball comedy that some becomes a psychotherapy session!
