up the chastity belt (1971)

aka The Chastity Belt. Ned Sherrin's Production of Up the Chastity Belt.
"and they named me Lurkalot, as I do!"
The Queen of England gives birth to twins, one of whom, Lurkalot (Frankie Howerd), is left to die in the forest, the other becoming Richard the Lionheart. But Lurkalot does not die, and not knowing his ancestry becomes a servant for Sir Coward (Graham Crowden), selling chastity belts on the side. That is until Sir Braggart de Bombast (Bill Fraser) takes a fancy to Coward's daughter, Lobelia (Anne Aston), and Lurkalot undertakes to protect her, the castle and most of all himself from Sir Braggart.
Following the success of Up Pompei, they decide to prove the law of diminishing returns, by foisting this pile on the unsuspecting public.
