aka Withnail & I.
"They are throwing themselves into the road gladly."
It's 1969 and two unemployed actors Withnail (Richard E. Grant) & Marwood (Paul McGann) try to keep their spirits up, mostly by dosing themselves with as many drugs, and as much booze as they can possibly find. They are helped along the way by Uncle Monty (Richard Griffiths), who as taken a shine to one, and drug dealer Danny (Ralph Brown), who tries to explain politics to them, through the medium of pharmaceuticals.
Based on the life of Bruce Robinson, this is a comedy with 'no crap bits in it.' as Ralph Brown is quoted as saying.
