The Swiss Ambassador Sobiesky (Anton Diffring) is found with the body of his lover in his car. He initially co-operates, but when there is a second murder he invokes his diplomatic immunity. Meanwhile ex-cop John Norton (Luigi Pistilli) gets involved when he starts having an affair with the Ambassador's step-daughter, Helen (Dagmar Lassander), but, the brutal killings continue..
Cryptic murders, beautiful and mysterious women, and a quirky detective; this has all the attributes of a classic Giallo, but something just doesn't click.
