"It smells like they are cooking a cat over there."A mysterious and very private family move into a house on a close knit cul-de-sac, and various paranoid theories start being expressed by the various neighbours, including stressed Ray (Tom Hanks) and the paramilitary Lt. Rumsfield (Bruce Dern). All egged on by Ricky (Corey Feldman), who likes to watch the madness unfurl, but could these incomers really be cannibals?
Fine comedy which makes great use of music and visual styles to spoof a variety of film genres, be it Italian horror, or spaghetti westerns.
