Newly wed Susan (Maribel Martín) is repulsed by her husband's (Simón Andreu) sexual fantasies, and is haunted by grisly dreams featuring a woman called Mircalla. Then her husband finds a woman buried in the sand on the beach and brings her home; a woman called Carmilla, who looks exactly like Mircalla. The two women then come together in an obsessive and bloody relationship, to the exclusion of the husband.
Atmospheric lesbian vampire eurotica, and a supposed critique of Franco's fascist government of the time.
