"It was a cop man, a big cop."A serial killer is dressing as a cop. As New York descends into fear, Frank McCrae (Tom Atkins) is given the task of stopping him, and they think they've found their man in the shape of young cop, Jack Forrest (Bruce Campbell). What they don't know is that he's been set-up. It's up to Forrest, his girlfriend Theresa (Laurene Landon), and McCrae to crack the case before the Maniac Cop strikes again.
A film that belies its low budget origins to provide a fine horror.
