"He's saying werewolf, and he's saying I'm his next victim."A woman is found murdered in the Louisiana bijou, with the father of the victim mentioning a louparouque, but no one understands him. So it falls to the sheriff (David Janssen) to solve the killing. Meanwhile Louise (Barbara Rush), a member of the towns first family returns after many years away, and she and the sheriff are immediately attracted to each other, but are from across the social divide.
Mildly diverting detective story, with the usual red herrings.
