"I want to report a murder."
Frank Bigalow (Edmond Obrien) walks into a police station to report a murder, his own! He then sets about telling us and the police in flashback how he came to be poisoned.
Classic noir, that goes beyond the simple thriller format, as Bigalow comes to terms with his imminent mortality, whilst searching frantically for his killer.
