"Everybody is somebody's fool."
A sailor (Orson Welles) gets involved with Mrs. Bannister (Rita Hayworth), who pursuades him to work on her husband's yacht. In doing so he is thrown into a murder plot.
A taut and wonderfully directed film noir, full of memorable set pieces and the visual flair that comes with a Welles picture.
