Anthropologist Jonathan Drake (Eduard Franz) believes that his family has been cursed by a tribe of South American Indians. A theory reinforced when Drake's brother is found dead, a shrunken head hanging near the body!
An entertaining and in turns creepy shocker despite its budgetary limitations.

texas chainsaw massacre: the next generation (1994)

"I want these people to know the meaning of horror!"
Prom night and a gang of teenagers (inc Renee Zellweger) get into a car crash in rural Texas. Stranded and with an injured driver they look for help and come across an old farmhouse, but its far from the help they are looking for... that is home to Leatherface (Robert Jacks) and his insane family of cannibalistic psychopaths.
This was never going to live up to its Predecessor but the prescense of Matthew McConaughey and Renee Zellweger adds interest to this video slasher.

A classic of modern horror cinema that birthed the template for the slasher genre whilst giving nightmares to whole generations.

talk of the devil (1967)

A half-hour comedy that is more of a curio than comedy.

fuzz (1972)

Detectives in a rundown Boston police department, including Burt Reynolds, Tom Skerritt and Raquel Welsh, strive to catch an extortionist who is targeting a local politician.
A gritty slice of life drama, with a side of comedy. Unfortunately it doesn't quite gell and ultimately its meandering wastes the many talents involved.

black '47 (2018)

A well made and sometimes visually striking revenge thriller distinguished by its famine setting.

Into this steps a Carp spirit who loves Chang and takes the form of his fiancée to get close to him leading to the inevitable conflicts and confusion...
A classic Huangmei Opera that intertwines fantasy and romance and a beautiful look.
