"Just carry out my orders!"
Its the Great War 1914 and Charlie Shakespeare (Jamie Bell) is one of a number of British soldiers who stumble on a German trench whilst caught behind enemy lines. Once they have captured a German they take refuge in the network of tunnels but slowly begin to realise there is more to fear here than the German enemy.
A slow build with some genuine horror of the futility of war ilk, but never fleshes out the characters enough for you to really care about their predicament.
