When amateur archaeologists (Dick Foran and Wallace Ford) defile the tomb of the mummified Kharis, they invoke the curse, and the wrath of high priest (George Zucco).
Passable comedy horror, that inspired three sequels.

army of the dead (2021)

"Did you see her die?"
Following on from the heist comedy Army of Thieves, the search for the third of the legendary Wagner safes leads Sebastian, now called Ludwig (Matthias Schweighöfer), to Las Vegas, when recruited by Scott Ward (Dave Bautista). Complicating things is that Vegas is now a quarantine for zombies and about to be nuked! Wonderful mix of drama, comedy and horror, in this stylish looking crime heist twist. Yes there are terrible plot holes, but its a zombie film not war and piece!

army of thieves (2021)

Sebastian (Matthias Schweighöfer) is a bank clerk with the hobby of safecracking, who is recruited to crack three legendary safes by Gwendoline (Nathalie Emmanuel), but as usual it very rapidly gets much more complex...
An entertaining heist comedy drama, that hints at the zombie film it prequels.

the yellow balloon (1953)

"Think what the police will think about it?"
Young Frankie (Andrew Ray) is accidental involved in the death of a friend, and a crook (William Sylvester) exploits his guilt using it to blackmail the kid.
Nice thriller that unerringly builds the tension to its conclusion.

"I've got to do it. The old lady knows."
An old lady (Isa Miranda) witnessed a kidnapper using a public phone box, but she only remembers the criminals shoes, and when the trail goes cold she she volunteers to be the bait, and a game of cat and mouse begins...
Interesting thriller that builds the tension nicely.

Baby Cart in Peril (1972)

AKA Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in Peril. Kozure Ōkami: Oya no kokoro ko no kokoro.
"Those eyes."
Ogami Ittō, the disgraced former shōgun's executioner is hired to kill Oyuki, a tattooed female assassin, but whilst traking her down, Ittō's 3-year-old son, Daigoro goes missing.
The forth episode in the Lone Wolf and Cub series, mixes up a number of story lines including Daigoro showing his independence and resourcefulness.

sword of vengeance (1972)

AKA Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance. Kozure Ōkami: Kowokashi udekashi tsukamatsuru.
"I will make sure the shōgun settles this matter."
Set in Japan during an unspecified year of the Edo period, Tomisaburo Wakayama (Ogami Ittō), is a disgraced former Kogi Kaishakunin (executioner) to the shōgun, wandering the countryside, with his 3-year-old son Daigoro inside a baby cart.
The start of the Lone Wolf and Cub series, starts Itto's bloodbath journey across the countryside and delves into why he is an assassin with child.
