curse of the swamp creature (1966)

The swamplands of Texas is home to Dr. Simond Trent (Jeff Alexander), whose vocation is experimenting on the locals, and reversing the evolutionary process! Then geologist Barry Rogers (John Agar) and crook Brenda Simmons (Shirley McLine) stray into his lab. This can only lead to trouble...
Enjoyable and educational; for one thing, I never knew there were swamps in Texas. The sort of monster flick that plays fast and loose with logic, and throws in every trick it can to keep it cheap and camp.

ghosts on the loose (1943)

aka The East Side Kids meet Bela Lugosi. Ghosts in the Night.
"You going goofy too?"
The East Side Kids decide to fix up a house for a pair of newlyweds, but they accidentally start renovating the wrong house. Fixing up a supposedly haunted house.
Bela Lugosi and Ava Gardner both pop up in this real clunker of a film, that lacks spark.

jesse james meets frankenstein's daughter (1966)

"We hold the secret of life in our hands."
Jesse James (John Lupton), the wild west outlaw is on the run from Marshal MacPhee. To give him the slip he hides out in a castle owned by Frankenstein's granddaughter Maria (Narda Onyx). She soon sets about turning Jesse's slow-witted pal Hank (Cal Bolder) into a zombie, whom she names Igor.
A melding of the Western and horror genre's proves in Beaudine's hands to be two steps too far.

Mystery in the Bermuda Triangle (1977)

Luchadores Mil Mascaras, Santo, and Blue Demon enter the Bermuda Triangle to help protect an Indian princess. Add some sexy spies, some kidnappers, and a some scientists ending up in Atlantis, and you have a baffling mix. You also have far too much talking, and far too little action.

stray cat rock (1970)

A female biker rides into town, takes on a rival biker gang and along the way some psychedelic rock clubs.
Stylish Japanese JD flick, where the woman have the balls.

the hitcher (2007)

"I don't want to die out here."
A young couple (Zachary Knighton & Sophia Bush) are travelling across country, when they almost run over a man (Sean Bean) in the middle of the road in a rain storm. They later encounter him in a gas station, and as he seems charming enough, decide to give hi a lift to the nearest hotel. Unfortunately he turns out to be psycho, and worse still, very determined to kill them...
Remake of the classic 80's chiller, this never the less provides a decent amount of shocks and is paced to maintain the attention, and forget the plot holes.

ilsa, the wicked warden (1977)

aka Greta - Haus ohne Männer. Ilsa: Absolute Power. Greta the Torturer. Greta, the Mad Butcher. Greta, the Sadist.
"No patient has ever left the clinic alive."
Ilsa (Dyanne Thorne) now runs a mental clinic with her unique brand of discipline. Trouble brews when a woman escapes, but dies of her wounds. Her sister deliberately gets herself sent to the hospital in an attempt to find out what happened. She soon finds out that Ilsa has a sideline making porn films using the inmates.
Features the usual Ilsa array of sexual torture techniques, nudity and domination, that saturated her previous appearances, but the shock value has deminished by this installment.
