"Come on John, lets go fight some monsters."
Professor Bruttenholm (John Hurt) discovers Hellboy (Ron Perlman), a demon summoned by the Nazi's during the war, and dedicates his life to working with him. As he grows Hellboy is used to vanquish other demons that emerge, but his biggest task comes when Rasputin (Karel Roden), the nazi that summoned him originally, comes back to take over the world.
A special effects riven extravaganza, that is partial successful; enjoyable, without being engaging.
