The Pollack's are all on the dole, and each copes with the daily boredom in their own way. Mark (Phil Daniels) hangs around with Coxy (Gary Oldman) a skinhead thug. Whilst Colin (Tim Roth), is tormented by his brother for being slightly retarded. Their fractious relationship comes to a head when their wealthy aunt gives Colin a job, making Mark jealous.
Drama set around the social mores of working class life, or rather the lack of working class life, and the desolation reaped a life of the young with no motivation or aim in life. relentlessly dark but entertaining political diatribe originally shown on the BBC.
