the unholy four (1954)

aka A Stranger Came Home.
A man arrives home to everyone's surprise, as they all believe he was murdered three years previously. Quite probably by one of the three friends he was on holiday with. He cannot trust anyone, not even his wife and soon people involved start dying and he gets the blame. But who can the murder be? Is it him exacting revenge, or one of the four who is trying to cover their tracks.
This is a ok murder mystery, but nothing more, based on a novel by Hollywood villain George Sanders and starring Paulette Goddard, (in a minor role).

jaws 3d (1983)

aka Jaws 3.
The sons of Amity police chief Brody, are employed at Florida's Sea World. Which is set around a lagoon with an Undersea Kingdom, underwater glass tunnels. Unfortunately this lagoon is invaded by a great white shark.
Don't believe the hype, this isn't as bad as reviews would have you believe. I quite enjoyed this, though there is little real suspense even when the shark turns up and it comes across more like an old school tv movie.

dracula (1958)

aka Horror Of Dracula.
Jonathan Harker arrives at Castle Dracula as the new librarian. In truth he is there to kill the Count. A plan that soon goes awry and things go wrong when Van Helsing turns up to find his friend has succumbed and become a vampire. Helsing then realises he has to defend Harker's fiancée, Lucy from the Counts interest.
Hammer's first look at the Dracula story is a snappily paced run through, with barely time to draw breath. Christopher Lee, brings a level of sex and violence to Dracula that was missing in previous incarnations. And Peter Cushing delivers what could be the definitive Van Helsing performance. This set the pattern that Hammer were to follow for the next twenty years, a classic Gothic horror.
