"Rid yourself of the words and thoughts of other people Mary.Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin (Elle Fanning) is a rebelious teen, sent to Scotland to help her clear her head. There she meets the young poet Percy Shelley (Douglas Booth), who turns her head and her life upsidedown. A love story, that brings the young impressionable Mary under the influance of the philandering Shelley, causing her to create Frankenstein.
