"You're not going to get mixed up in this are you?"Taxi driver Ted Peters (Richard Attenborough), finds his dodgy mate Dave (Bill Owen) dead in his cab, shot in a gang squable. With thoughts that Dave talked before his death, the gang decide to snuff Ted out. Can Ted get to the bottom of events before the gang manage to get to him?
