"I'm trying to knock the stuffing out of a stuffed shirt."Heather (Sandra Dee) has a stage mother (Celeste Holm) who pushes her to be the lead singer in a band. Her boss, Harlan (George Hamilton), is the one man who seems not to like her, and thinks she has an average voice. So obviously he is the one man she wants to impress.
Full of retro charm, but little else.
