"The imposter provided me with a very charming adventure."Opera singer Giulio (Nino Martini) is signed up to appear in a film, unfortunately whilst journeying there he is stranding penniless in a small Italian village. Also stranded is Mary (Patricia Roc), a British girl and her dog.
Two stories are mashed together, a manic satire on film production sandwiches a by-the-numbers romantic comedy, featuring Nino Martini as the unbelievable romantic lead. Watch only for the first five minutes and a silent walk on by Christopher Lee.
