"He's lying and he's not going to get away with it."Socialite Walter Deaney (John Saxon) kills a burglar in cold blood, and fixes it to look like he had no choice but kill the man. Something that Mitchell (Joe Don Baker) immediately thinks is fishy. To stop him investigating further Mitchell is tasked with the 24hr surveillance of John Cummings (Martin Balsam) a businessman suspected of importing heroin. Complicating Mitchell's life is the arrival of 'birthday present' Greta (Linda Evans).
Passable cop flick, that lacks a central character with charm.
