boot hill (1969)

aka Trinity Rides Again. La collina degli stivali.
"You're not the one I'm looking for, but you'll make good bait for my trap."
Cat Stevens (Terence Hill) is given a claim to a mine, but is jumped by Honey Fisher's (Victor Buono) men. Wounded he hides out with a traveling circus. When Fisher's men come looking for him they kill one of the troop, and Thomas (Woody Strode), an acrobat and former gunslinger seeks out Cat to exact revenge. Along the way they hook up with Hutch Bessy (Bud Spencer) and his deaf mute sidekick (George Eastman) and the band try and figure out a way to get even with the company.
The third and last of the Colizzi Hill/Spencer collaborations. It has at times an uneasy mix of comedy, western myth-making and gritty drama, but it is still an entertaining film, for all that.
