"If you're going to lead people, you have to have somewhere to go."Rusty James (Matt Dillon), a hoodlum, tries to live up to his older brother's reputation. His brother, The motorcycle boy (Mickey Rourke), returns after an absense of a couple of months, but is distracted and not the same person that controlled the local gangs previously. Rusty struggles with life, as it falls apart, and he loses his friends, and his confidence.
One of those films where every frame seems to be perfect. Artwork as much as a piece of entertainment.
