We return to the Delambre family fifteen years after the death of Andre and questions are still being asked about his experiments and his death. Reluctantly Francois (Vincent Price) helps Andre's son Philippe (Brett Halsey) who is determined to create a matter transporter. But those that ignore history are condemned to repeat them, and thus it is with poor Philippe, as he soon finds out. Increasing Price's role, compared to the original, makes for an enjoyable sequel. The film has much more going on, with sub-plots involving greed and treachary conspiring against Philippe.
